01Will a highly glazed extension overheat?
It can if orientation, glass specification, ventilation and shading are not considered. Comfort needs to be designed, not assumed.
02Can glass meet an older brick or stone house?
Yes. The junction should be deliberately detailed so movement, weathering and the visual transition are resolved.
03Are rooflights better than a full glazed roof?
Neither is universally better. Daylight distribution, heat performance, maintenance and the architectural intent should decide the approach.
